Does AquaGold® hurt or require downtime?
AquaGold® is a very comfortable procedure. Topical numbing cream will be applied to the entire face. Once the face is numb, the treatment will begin and the mild, prickling sensation will hardly be noticeable. This procedure is normally performed within a 45-minute period and does not require any downtime.
When will I see results?

What should I expect at my appointment?
Following an initial consultation—your experienced injector at Exceeding Wellness. The injections are relatively painless, no numbing agent is needed. Depending on the area(s) being treated, Botox® / Dysport® injections typically only take about 10–15 minutes with virtually no downtime. It is recommended that strenuous activities are restricted for at least 24 hours following injection. The Exceeding Wellness team will give you specific recommendations for your post-treatment routine. Patients may experience minimal redness, swelling, or sensitivity at the injection sites, but it is typically mild and resolves quickly.
What should I expect at my appointment?
Most patients begin seeing results within 5–7 days, with full correction at the two week mark.
How long do results last?
Exceeding Wellness patients enjoy relatively long-lasting results between treatments, which are typically performed every three months or so. It is imperative that patients select a competent, knowledgeable, and experienced provider to perform their Botox® / Dysport® injections in order to ensure optimal results. The Master Level Injectors at Exceeding Wellness are highly qualified and certified in the most effective injection techniques.
What is the typical recovery time?
You should be able to resume your normal activity immediately after receiving Botox® or Dysport®. However, vigorous rubbing of the treatment areas and facial massages should be avoided for at least 48 hours following treatment. It is also recommended that you avoid laying down for 4 hours after treatment and avoid strenuous activity (exercise) for 24 hours.
CHEMICAL PEELS
A chemical peel is a form of exfoliation that uses a chemical solution to remove dead skin cells from the top layer of skin. Treatment time can take up to 45-minutes and the peeling process can last 3–7 days. During the peeling process, the dead skin cells shed or flake off, eventually revealing fresh, new skin.

What conditions does a chemical peel treat?
Chemical peels are non-invasive treatments to improve the texture of your skin by removing the damaged outer layers. When will I see results?
Dermal filler results are immediate, and you can expect to see the full correction within 7–14 days.
Can I get dermal fillers the day before a big event?
Dermal filler recovery time may vary. While not everyone will bruise, there may be swelling and bruising at the injection site that can last up to 2 weeks. We do not recommend scheduling filler appointments around major events due to the possibility of bruising.
How do fillers get rid of my wrinkles?
Dermal fillers replace lost natural hyaluronic acid in the skin and add volume to the treated areas.
What happens if I need more correction or I didn’t achieve the results I anticipated?
We are a results driven practice. We therefore offer a complimentary 2 week follow up visit after all dermal filler treatments where we can re-evaluate and adjust if necessary.

Does it hurt?
The sub-mental area will be cleansed and numbed prior to the procedure to minimize discomfort. Kybella® is then injected directly into the fatty tissue. The injection sensation is commonly described as a “pinch and sting”. Significant swelling and discomfort may last for up to 72-hours post procedure.
How long does it last?
The results are permanent. When injected into the fat under your chin, Kybella® causes destruction of fat cells. Once destroyed, those cells cannot store or accumulate fat. After the aesthetic goals are achieved, retreatment with Kybella® is not expected.
When will I see results?

You will experience some redness and mild swelling for 1–3 days. It is possible to have Petechiae (tiny blood spots), but they will resolve between 24–48 hours. In the weeks following treatment, your skin will become smoother and more radiant.

How is the treatment performed?
Microneedling with PRP is performed in the office. The first step is the application of a topical anesthetic to keep you comfortable during the procedure.
